Breakthrough - Print
Acrylic Painting Print (unframed)
8” x 10” with white border on Poster Paper with Foam backing in Cellophane Sleeve
I painted this live at Converge Launceston in November 2017.
My friend Julie Strack felt that God was conveying to her the idea that a "breakthrough" is not always impactful or dramatic like a fist punching through a wall. Sometimes, it's like tea gently dispersing from a tea bag: the subtle osmosis of a delicate flavour.
Inspired by this, I painted the following: Emerging from a once checkered past and shadows is a transparent vessel (me) where a treasured, refreshing, fragrant brew is diffusing. The aroma wafts heavenward, permeating everything within the vessel. Moreover, it seeps out, carrying with it golden moments that transform even its surroundings.
